And the child grew and became strong. He was very wise. He was blessed by God’s grace.

And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him.

There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God’s favor was on him.

The boy grew up and became strong, filled with wisdom, and God’s grace was on him.

Now the Child continued to grow and to become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the favor of God was upon Him.

He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the Lord and with people.

The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.

Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast.

Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all

The woman gave birth to a boy and named him Samson. He grew and the Lord blessed him,

But Samuel was ministering before the Lord— a boy wearing a linen ephod.

You are the most excellent of men and your lips have been anointed with grace, since God has blessed you forever.

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
