Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

Anna came up to Jesus’ family at that moment. She gave thanks to God. And she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the time when Jerusalem would be set free.

在耶路撒冷有一個人，名叫西面，這人公義虔誠，一向期待以色列的安慰者來到，又有聖靈在他身上。

但我們素來盼望要救贖以色列的就是他。不但這樣，這些事發生到今天，已經是第三天了。

感謝神，他的恩賜難以形容。

一個一向等候神國度的尊貴的議員，亞利馬太的約瑟來了，就放膽地進去見彼拉多，求領耶穌的身體。

“主，以色列的神，是應當稱頌的，因他眷顧自己的子民，施行救贖，

撒迦利亞的口舌立刻開了，就出聲稱頌神。住在周圍的人都害怕，這一切事傳遍了整個猶太山地，凡聽見的就把這些事放在心裡，說：“這孩子將會成為怎樣的人呢？因為主的手與他同在。”

馬利亞說：“我心尊主為大，我靈以神我的救主為樂，因為他垂顧他婢女的卑微，看哪！今後萬代都要稱我為有福。全能者為我行了大事，他的名為聖；他的憐憫世世代代歸與敬畏他的人。他用膀臂施展大能，驅散心裡妄想的狂傲人。他使有權能的失位，叫卑微的升高，讓飢餓的得飽美食，使富足的空手回去。他扶助了他的僕人以色列，為要記念他的憐憫，正如他向我們列祖所說的，恩待亞伯拉罕和他的後裔，直到永遠。”馬利亞和以利沙伯同住約有三個月，就回家去了。

我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們：

西面就把他接到手上，稱頌神說：“主啊，現在照你的話，釋放僕人平平安安地去吧！因我的眼睛已經看見你的救恩，就是你在萬民面前所預備的，為要作外族人啟示的光，和你民以色列的榮耀。”

是猶太地亞利馬太城的人，一向等候神的國，並不附和眾人的計謀和行為。
