Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

瑪麗亞說：「我的心尊主為大，我的靈因我的救主上帝而歡喜，因祂眷顧我這卑微的婢女，從今以後，世世代代都要稱我是有福的。全能者在我身上行了奇事，祂的名是神聖的。祂憐憫敬畏祂的人，直到世世代代。祂伸出臂膀，施展大能，驅散心驕氣傲的人。祂使當權者失勢，叫謙卑的人升高。祂使饑餓的得飽足，叫富足的空手而去。祂扶助了自己的僕人以色列，祂要施憐憫給亞伯拉罕和他的子孫，直到永遠，正如祂對我們祖先的應許。」瑪麗亞和伊莉莎白同住了約三個月，便回家去了。

讚美我們主耶穌基督的父上帝！祂在基督裡賜給了我們天上各樣屬靈的恩福。

就把祂抱過來，稱頌上帝說：「主啊，現在你的話已經成就，可以讓你的奴僕安然離世了，因為我已親眼看到你的救恩，就是你為萬民所預備的救恩。這救恩是啟示外族人的光，也是你以色列子民的榮耀。」

住在猶太地區的亞利馬太城，一直在等候上帝國的降臨。他並不苟同公會的決定。
