Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

“ Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,

And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!

And Mary said:“ My soul magnifies the Lord,

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.

Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them,

Bless the Lord, O house of Israel! Bless the Lord, O house of Aaron!Bless the Lord, O house of Levi! You who fear the Lord, bless the Lord!
