And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people,

And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.

Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make His deeds known among the peoples.Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Tell of all His wonders.Boast in His holy name; May the heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful.

And Mary said:“ My soul exalts the Lord,

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.Sing for joy in the Lord, you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright.

And He took a child and placed him among them, and taking him in His arms, He said to them,

House of Israel, bless the Lord; House of Aaron, bless the Lord;House of Levi, bless the Lord; You who revere the Lord, bless the Lord.
