And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

“ Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people

And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!

And Mary said,“ My soul magnifies the Lord,

Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright.

And he took a child and put him in the midst of them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them,

O house of Israel, bless the Lord! O house of Aaron, bless the Lord!O house of Levi, bless the Lord! You who fear the Lord, bless the Lord!
