Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue set free, and he began to speak, praising God.

Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors!

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had seen and heard, which were just as they had been told.

Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and provided redemption for his people.

After taking them in his arms, he laid his hands on them and blessed them.

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell about all his wondrous works!Boast in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord,

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; shout for joy, all you upright in heart.Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones; praise from the upright is beautiful.

He took a child, had him stand among them, and taking him in his arms, he said to them,

House of Israel, bless the LORD! House of Aaron, bless the LORD!House of Levi, bless the LORD! You who revere the LORD, bless the LORD!
