Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, even as it was spoken unto them.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel; For he hath visited and wrought redemption for his people,

And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.

Oh give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known among the peoples his doings.Sing unto him, sing praises unto him; Talk ye of all his marvelous works.Glory ye in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous; And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.Rejoice in Jehovah, O ye righteous: Praise is comely for the upright.

And he took a little child, and set him in the midst of them: and taking him in his arms, he said unto them,

O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
