All who heard the shepherds’ story were astonished,

凡听见的，就诧异牧羊之人对他们所说的话。

听见的人都诧异牧羊人对他们所说的话。

Amazed, the people exclaimed,“ What authority and power this man’s words possess! Even evil spirits obey him, and they flee at his command!”

Jesus’ parents were amazed at what was being said about him.

For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon,“ Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!”

All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

Awe fell upon the whole neighborhood, and the news of what had happened spread throughout the Judean hills.Everyone who heard about it reflected on these events and asked,“ What will this child turn out to be?” For the hand of the Lord was surely upon him in a special way.
