O God, you have taught me since I was young, and I am still declaring your amazing deeds.Even when I am old and gray, O God, do not abandon me, until I tell the next generation about your strength, and those coming after me about your power.

So my heart rejoices and I am happy; My life is safe.You will not abandon me to Sheol; you will not allow your faithful follower to see the Pit.

Jesus looked at him and said,“ You are Simon, the son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which is translated Peter).On the next day Jesus wanted to set out for Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow me.”( Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter.)Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also wrote about– Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”Nathanael replied,“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip replied,“ Come and see.”
