God, You have taught me from my youth, and I still proclaim Your wonderful works.Even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me. Then I will proclaim Your power to another generation, Your strength to all who are to come.

Therefore my heart is glad and my spirit rejoices; my body also rests securely.For You will not abandon me to Sheol; You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay.

At that time those who feared the Lord spoke to one another. The Lord took notice and listened. So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Yahweh and had high regard for His name.

Then the woman left her water jar, went into town, and told the men,“ Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could this be the Messiah?”

He first found his own brother Simon and told him,“ We have found the Messiah!”( which means“ Anointed One”),and he brought Simon to Jesus. When Jesus saw him, He said,“ You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas”( which means“ Rock”).The next day He decided to leave for Galilee. Jesus found Philip and told him,“ Follow Me!”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the hometown of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law( and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!”“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Nathanael asked him.“ Come and see,” Philip answered.
