When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another,“ Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

天神既升天而去、牧童相語曰：『盍依主所昭示、共赴百利恆、一睹適成之妙。』

The angels left and went into heaven. Then the shepherds said to one another,“ Let’s go to Bethlehem. Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another,“ Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other,“ Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another,“ Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

When the angels had departed from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another,“ Let’s go straight to Bethlehem, then, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another,“ Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.”

And it came to pass, when the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing that is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another,“ Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said,“ They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there,as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen.Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.( They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.

The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalemand asked,“ Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.

who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand— with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

So Moses thought,“ I will go over and see this strange sight— why the bush does not burn up.”
