The Savior— yes, the Messiah, the Lord— has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

She will give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

They said to the woman,“ No longer do we believe because of your words, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this one really is the Savior of the world.”

And who am I that the mother of my Lord should come and visit me?

Simon Peter answered,“ You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

But“ when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,he saved us not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior.And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.”

You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ( he is Lord of all)–

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been fathered by God, and everyone who loves the father loves the child fathered by him.

But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs; the nations will obey him.

explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and to rise from the dead, saying,“ This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ.”

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

He first found his own brother Simon and told him,“ We have found the Messiah!”( which is translated Christ).

She replied,“ Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God who comes into the world.”

“ Seventy weeks have been determined concerning your people and your holy city to put an end to rebellion, to bring sin to completion, to atone for iniquity, to bring in perpetual righteousness, to seal up the prophetic vision, and to anoint a most holy place.So know and understand: From the issuing of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an anointed one, a prince arrives, there will be a period of seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will again be built, with plaza and moat, but in distressful times.Now after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one will be cut off and have nothing. As for the city and the sanctuary, the people of the coming prince will destroy them. But his end will come speedily like a flood. Until the end of the war that has been decreed there will be destruction.

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

But when the appropriate time had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,to redeem those who were under the law, so that we may be adopted as sons with full rights.

The kings of the earth form a united front; the rulers collaborate against the LORD and his anointed king.

Others said,“ This is the Christ!” But still others said,“ No, for the Christ doesn’t come from Galilee, does he?

Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,

Philip found Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law, and the prophets also wrote about– Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”

We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God!”

Then some of the residents of Jerusalem began to say,“ Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill?Yet here he is, speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to him. Do the rulers really know that this man is the Christ?But we know where this man comes from. Whenever the Christ comes, no one will know where he comes from.”

not pilfering, but showing all good faith, in order to bring credit to the teaching of God our Savior in everything.For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people.It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live self- controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,as we wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

For he has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,

He is the one who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on his own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began,but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!

More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things– indeed, I regard them as dung!– that I may gain Christ,

But he said to them,“ How is it that they say that the Christ is David’s son?For David himself says in the book of Psalms,‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’If David then calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be his son?”
