日暮、二天使至所多馬、時羅得坐於邑門、見之、遂起晉接、俯伏、曰、長者歟、請回步履、以臨僕舍、濯足而宿、夙興遄征、可也。曰、否。我將宿於衢。羅得促之、使者旋踵、以入其室、乃炊無酵餅、肆筵使食。○

曰、若蒙恩於長者前、願勿遽行、憩息樹下、容我取勺水、以濯爾足、取餅少許、補爾心力、而後遄征、可也、蓋爾既過我、當待爾如是。曰、可。

耶和華兮、爾鑒察予兮、我或坐或起、或寢或興、爾知之稔兮、念慮未萌、爾知之久兮、我之步履、爾察之詳兮、

常柔遠人、蓋亦有不知其為天使而接之者、

蓋人子至、為尋救所喪者耳、○

使基督因爾信而居爾心、

我儕同勞之人勸爾不可徒受上帝恩、

且爾竭心思、為所當為、轉瞬之間、即歸於土、在彼無工作、無計謀、無智慧。

余在家庭、惟道是從、惟公是秉兮、我非禮不視、深惡邪僻、雖片刻不敢從兮、
