拿但业对耶稣说：“你从哪里认识我的？”耶稣回答他说：“腓力还没有呼唤你，你在无花果树底下，我就看见你了。”

“我从你旁边经过，见你在血中打滚，就对你说：‘你虽在血中，却要活下去！’我又说：‘你虽在血中，却要活下去！’

有一个撒玛利亚妇人来打水。耶稣对她说：“请给我水喝。”因为那时门徒进城买食物去了。撒玛利亚妇人对他说：“你是犹太人，怎么向我一个撒玛利亚女人要水喝呢？”因为犹太人和撒玛利亚人没有来往。耶稣回答她说：“你若知道上帝的恩赐，和对你说‘请给我水喝’的是谁，你早就会求他，他也早就会给了你活水。”

两个天使在傍晚到了所多玛，罗得正坐在所多玛的城门口。罗得一看见，就起身迎接他们，脸伏于地下拜，说：“看哪，我主，请你们转到仆人家里过夜，洗你们的脚，清早起来再上路。”他们说：“不！我们要在广场上过夜。”罗得恳切地请他们，他们就转向他，进到他屋里。罗得为他们预备宴席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。

说：“我主，我若在你眼前蒙恩，请不要离开你的仆人走过去。容我拿点水来，请你们洗脚，在树下休息。既然你们来到仆人这里了，我再拿点饼来，让你们恢复心力，然后再走。”他们说：“就照你说的去做吧。”

耶和华啊，你已经鉴察我，认识我。我坐下，我起来，你都晓得；你从远处知道我的意念。我行路，我躺卧，你都细察；你也深知我一切所行的。

不可忘记用爱心接待旅客，因为曾经有人这样做，在无意中接待了天使。

人子来是要寻找和拯救失丧的人。”

又要他使基督因着你们的信住在你们心里，使你们既在爱中生根立基，

我们与上帝同工的也劝你们，不可白受他的恩典；

凡你手所当做的事，要尽力去做；因为在你所必须去的阴间没有工作，没有谋算，没有知识，也没有智慧。

我要用智慧行完全的道。你几时到我这里来呢？我要以纯正的心行在我家中。邪僻的事，我都不摆在我眼前；悖逆的人所做的事，我甚恨恶，不容沾在我身上。
