你看，我站在門外敲門；若有人聽見我的聲音來開門，我就要進去找他，同他喫飯，他也同我喫飯。

耶穌回答他說：『人若愛我，就必遵守我的話；我父必愛他，我們也必來找他，將他做我們的住處。

拿但業對耶穌說：『你從哪裏認識我呢？』耶穌回答他說：『腓力沒有呼叫你以前，你在無花果樹底下、我就看見你了。』

『我從你旁邊經過，見你在你血中掙扎着，就對在血中的你說：「你要活着！

有一個撒瑪利亞的婦人來打水。耶穌對她說：『請給我喝。』（他的門徒早已往城裏買食物去了。）撒瑪利亞的婦人就對耶穌說：『你、是猶太人，怎麼向我、一個撒瑪利亞婦人、求飲呢？』（原來猶太人和撒瑪利亞人是沒有攙雜來往的）。耶穌回答她說：『你若曉得上帝白白的恩，和對你說「請給我喝」的是誰，你就早已求他，他就早已給你活水了。』

晚上時候，那兩個天使來到所多瑪：羅得正在所多瑪城門口坐着。羅得一看見，就起來迎接他們，面伏於地而下拜；說：『我主，請轉到僕人家裏來過夜，洗洗腳，清早起來再走路。』他們說：『不，我們要在廣場上過夜。』羅得極力地逼着他們，他們才轉身，來到他家裏。羅得給他們辦筵席，烤無酵餅；他們就喫。

說：『我主，我若蒙你賞臉，求你不要離開僕人而走過去。容我叫人拿點兒水來，你們洗洗腳，就在樹底下靠着、歇息歇息。我再拿點餅來，你們喫喫點心，然後往前走；因為你們既從僕人這裏經過，我理當招待。』他們說：『就照你所說的作吧。』

永恆主啊，你察透了我，你認識我。我坐下、我起來、只有你才曉得；我的意念你從遠處就明白。我行路、我伸懶腰、你都篩下來細察；我一切所行的、你都熟悉。

別忘了樂意款待旅客了。因為曾有人因樂意款待旅客，不知不覺竟款待了天使呢。

因為人子來，正要尋找拯救失喪的人。』

使基督憑着你們的信住在你們心裏，使你們既已扎根立基在愛中，

我們作為上帝同工的、也勸你們不要空受上帝的恩。

凡你的手見得可作的事、你總要盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間、那裏沒有工作，沒有設計，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

我要留心於純全之道路；你幾時才到我這裏來呢？我要存純全的心在我家中往來。卑鄙的事我都不擺在我眼前；背離退落的行為、我都恨惡，它決不會沾貼着我。
