When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him,“ Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.”

Jesus reached the spot where Zacchaeus was. He looked up and said,“ Zacchaeus, come down at once. I must stay at your house today.”

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him,“ Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.”

When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name.“ Zacchaeus!” he said.“ Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee[ when thou wast] in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee[ when thou wast] in thy blood, Live.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.( For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing[ them] rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known[ me].Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted[ with] all my ways.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

We then,[ as] workers together[ with him], beseech[ you] also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do[ it] with thy might; for[ there is] no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside;[ it] shall not cleave to me.
