遂語眾曰、爾以刃與梃來執我、若捕盜乎、我日坐於殿訓誨、爾不我執、

祭司諸長及士子聞此、謀何以滅之、蓋懼之、以眾奇其訓也、○

復至耶路撒冷、耶穌行於殿、祭司諸長士子長老、就之、曰、爾以何權行是、賜爾行此權者誰耶、耶穌曰、我試問爾一言、爾答之、我則以何權行此告爾、約翰之洗、自天乎、自人乎、爾其答之、其人竊議曰、若云自天、彼必曰、曷不信之、若云自人、則又畏民、蓋皆以約翰為先知也、遂對曰、不知也、耶穌曰、我亦不告爾以何權行是矣、

耶穌日在殿訓誨、夜出至橄欖山宿焉、庶民黎明就於殿以聽之、

越二日、乃逾越節、即除酵節也、祭司諸長、士子、謀以詭計執耶穌而殺之、

耶穌曰、我明言於世、恆訓於會堂、及殿間、即猶太人咸集之處、隱中則無所言、

時、祭司諸長、及民之長老、集大祭司該亞法院、謀以詭計執耶穌、殺之、

摩西非以律授爾乎、第爾中無一行律者、何為欲殺我耶、

其人知斯喻指己而言、欲執之、而畏眾、遂去之、○

眾又欲執之、乃脫其手而去、○

中有欲執之者、但無人著手耳、○

自是而後、眾議殺之、○故耶穌不復顯行於猶太人中、去彼而往近野之地、至一邑、名以法蓮、偕門徒居之、猶太人逾越節伊邇、多有自鄉上耶路撒冷者、於節前自潔也、眾尋耶穌、立於殿相語曰、爾意若何、彼不赴節乎、祭司諸長、與法利賽人曾出諭曰、若有知其所在者、宜報焉、俾得執之、

我知爾為亞伯拉罕之裔、然爾欲殺我、因我道不容於爾衷也、我所見於我父、我即言之、爾所聞於爾父、爾即行之、眾曰、亞伯拉罕我父也、耶穌曰、爾若亞伯拉罕之子、必行亞伯拉罕之行矣、我以聞於上帝之真理語爾、而爾今欲殺我、此非亞伯拉罕所行也、
