耶稣进了圣殿，赶出圣殿里所有在做买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子和卖鸽子之人的凳子，对他们说：“经上记着：‘我的殿要称为祷告的殿，你们倒使它成为贼窝了。’”

他们来到耶路撒冷。耶稣一进圣殿，就赶出在圣殿里做买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子和卖鸽子之人的凳子；也不许人拿着器具从圣殿里经过。他教导他们说：“经上不是记着：‘我的殿要称为万国祷告的殿吗？你们倒使它成为贼窝了。’”

犹太人的逾越节近了，耶稣上耶路撒冷去。他看见圣殿里有卖牛羊和鸽子的，还有兑换银钱的人坐着，耶稣就拿绳子做成鞭子，把所有的，包括牛羊都赶出圣殿，倒出兑换银钱之人的银钱，推翻他们的桌子，又对卖鸽子的说：“把这些东西拿走！不要把我父的殿当作买卖的地方。”他的门徒就想起经上记着：“我为你的殿心里焦急，如同火烧。”

你可以把它换成银子，把银子包起来，拿在手中，往耶和华—你神所选择的地方去。在那里，你可以随心所欲用银子或买牛羊，或买清酒烈酒，或买任何你心所想的。你和你的全家要在耶和华—你神面前吃喝欢乐。
