saying,“ If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

说：“今天你若知道那能带给你平安的事就好了！可惜这事现在是隐藏的，你看不见！

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。

说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。

說：「但願你在這日子知道有關你平安的事，不過這事現在是隱藏的，你的眼睛看不出來。

說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！

說：“巴不得你在這日子，知道關於你平安的事，但現在這事在你眼前是隱藏的。

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子裡明白關乎你和平的事，但如今這事在你眼前被隱藏了。

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、

曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、

城乎、今猶為爾之日、倘爾於是日、而知關爾平安之事則幸、但此事今隱於爾目矣、

『汝倘能於此日、恍然了悟平安之所自、豈不美乎？奈何至今！汝目猶有所蒙也。

and said,“ If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

He said,“ I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

“ How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things[ which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end!

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.For He says:“ In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

while it is said:“ Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

but exhort one another daily, while it is called“ Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

To give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,Through the tender mercy of our God, With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Then Jesus said to them,“ A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them.

The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ— He is Lord of all—

And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:‘ Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’

Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God.“ Therefore turn and live!”

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

So when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word:“ The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers,saying,‘ Go to this people and say:“ Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive;For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”’

to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.”

And He said,“ Go, and tell this people:‘ Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’“ Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.”

and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said,“ It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.Just as it is written:“ God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day.”And David says:“ Let their table become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to them.Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and bow down their back always.”

For the Lord has poured out on you The spirit of deep sleep, And has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; And He has covered your heads, namely, the seers.The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying,“ Read this, please.” And he says,“ I cannot, for it is sealed.”Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying,“ Read this, please.” And he says,“ I am not literate.”Therefore the Lord said:“ Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They do not know nor understand; For He has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, And their hearts, so that they cannot understand.

Say to them:‘ As I live,’ says the Lord GOD,‘ I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:“ Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:“ Today, if you will hear His voice,

For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:“ Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

“ Oh, that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways!

Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!

But whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace to this house.’And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you.

Then the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:“ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men!”
