saying,“ If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

说：“今天你若知道那能带给你平安的事就好了！可惜这事现在是隐藏的，你看不见！

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。

说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。

說：「但願你在這日子知道有關你平安的事，不過這事現在是隱藏的，你的眼睛看不出來。

說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！

說：“巴不得你在這日子，知道關於你平安的事，但現在這事在你眼前是隱藏的。

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子裡明白關乎你和平的事，但如今這事在你眼前被隱藏了。

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、

曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、

城乎、今猶為爾之日、倘爾於是日、而知關爾平安之事則幸、但此事今隱於爾目矣、

『汝倘能於此日、恍然了悟平安之所自、豈不美乎？奈何至今！汝目猶有所蒙也。

and said,“ If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

He said,“ I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

“ How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things[ which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

I wish that they were wise and could understand this, and that they could comprehend what will happen to them.”

Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.For he says,“ I heard you at the acceptable time, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Look, now is the acceptable time; look, now is the day of salvation!

But their minds were closed. For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read. It has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away.But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds,but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

As it says,“ Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks! Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing,among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God.

For if we deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins is left for us,but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury of fire that will consume God’s enemies.Someone who rejected the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?

But exhort one another each day, as long as it is called“ Today,” that none of you may become hardened by sin’s deception.

to give his people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins.Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on highto give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Jesus replied,“ The light is with you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness may not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said these things, he went away and hid himself from them.

You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ( he is Lord of all)–

And concerning them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:‘ You will listen carefully yet will never understand, you will look closely yet will never comprehend.For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

If only you had obeyed my commandments, prosperity would have flowed to you like a river, deliverance would have come to you like the waves of the sea.

Throw away all your sins you have committed and fashion yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Why should you die, O house of Israel?For I take no delight in the death of anyone, declares the sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

Seek the LORD while he makes himself available; call to him while he is nearby!

So they began to leave, unable to agree among themselves, after Paul made one last statement:“ The Holy Spirit spoke rightly to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiahwhen he said,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, but will never understand, and you will keep on looking, but will never perceive.For the heart of this people has become dull, and their ears are hard of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.”’

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.Take care not to refuse the one who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the one who warns from heaven?Then his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised,“ I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.”

He said,“ Go and tell these people:‘ Listen continually, but don’t understand! Look continually, but don’t perceive!’Make the hearts of these people calloused; make their ears deaf and their eyes blind! Otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, their hearts might understand and they might repent and be healed.”

They will demolish you– you and your children within your walls– and they will not leave within you one stone on top of another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was diligently seeking, but the elect obtained it. The rest were hardened,as it is written,“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, to this very day.”And David says,“ Let their table become a snare and trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and make their backs bend continually.”

For the LORD has poured out on you a strong urge to sleep deeply. He has shut your eyes( the prophets), and covered your heads( the seers).To you this entire prophetic revelation is like words in a sealed scroll. When they hand it to one who can read and say,“ Read this,” he responds,“ I can’t, because it is sealed.”Or when they hand the scroll to one who can’t read and say,“ Read this,” he says,“ I can’t read.”The sovereign master says,“ These people say they are loyal to me; they say wonderful things about me, but they are not really loyal to me. Their worship consists of nothing but man- made ritual.Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people– an absolutely extraordinary deed. Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations.”

The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders,and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned.

They do not comprehend or understand, for their eyes are blind and cannot see; their minds do not discern.

Say to them,‘ As surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but prefer that the wicked change his behavior and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil deeds! Why should you die, O house of Israel?’

so that the word of Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled. He said,“ Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”For this reason they could not believe, because again Isaiah said,“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and turn to me, and I would heal them.”Isaiah said these things because he saw Christ’s glory, and spoke about him.

For this reason every one of your faithful followers should pray to you while there is a window of opportunity. Certainly when the surging water rises, it will not reach them.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,“ Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks!

For he is our God; we are the people of his pasture, the sheep he owns. Today, if only you would obey him!He says,“ Do not be stubborn like they were at Meribah, like they were that day at Massah in the wilderness,

If only my people would obey me! If only Israel would keep my commands!

If only it would really be their desire to fear me and obey all my commandments in the future, so that it may go well with them and their descendants forever.

Whenever you enter a house, first say,‘ May peace be on this house!’And if a peace- loving person is there, your peace will remain on him, but if not, it will return to you.

But the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, for I proclaim to you good news that brings great joy to all the people:Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord.This will be a sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.”Suddenly a vast, heavenly army appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”
