saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

说：“今天你若知道那能带给你平安的事就好了！可惜这事现在是隐藏的，你看不见！

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。

说：“巴不得你在这日子里明白关乎你和平的事，但如今这事在你眼前被隐藏了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。

說：「但願你在這日子知道有關你平安的事，不過這事現在是隱藏的，你的眼睛看不出來。

說：「今天你若知道那能帶給你平安的事就好了！可惜這事現在是隱藏的，你看不見！

說：“巴不得你在這日子，知道關於你平安的事，但現在這事在你眼前是隱藏的。

說：『巴不得連你也在這日子知道那關於你平安之事哦；無奈已被隱藏、使你的眼看不出來了。

說：「巴不得你在這日子裡明白關乎你和平的事，但如今這事在你眼前被隱藏了。

曰、倘爾於是日、知關乎平安之事則幸、但今隱於爾目矣、

曰、今猶為爾日、及是時、而知關爾平安之事、則幸、過此、隱於爾目矣、

城乎、今猶為爾之日、倘爾於是日、而知關爾平安之事則幸、但此事今隱於爾目矣、

『汝倘能於此日、恍然了悟平安之所自、豈不美乎？奈何至今！汝目猶有所蒙也。

and said,“ If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

He said,“ I wish you had known today what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

“ How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known on this day, even you, the conditions for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying, If thou hadst known in this day, even thou, the things which belong unto peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you knew this day what would bring peace— but now it is hidden from your eyes.

Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things[ which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

saying,“ If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

If only they were wise, they would comprehend this; they would understand their fate.

Working together with him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”For he says: At an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!

but their minds were hardened. For to this day, at the reading of the old covenant, the same veil remains; it is not lifted, because it is set aside only in Christ.Yet still today, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts,but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.

As it is said: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

For if we deliberately go on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.Anyone who disregarded the law of Moses died without mercy, based on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, who has regarded as profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

But encourage each other daily, while it is still called today, so that none of you is hardened by sin’s deception.

to give his people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins.Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the dawn from on high will visit usto shine on those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Jesus answered,“ The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.While you have the light, believe in the light so that you may become children of light.” Jesus said this, then went away and hid from them.

He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ— he is Lord of all.

Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: You will listen and listen, but never understand; you will look and look, but never perceive.For this people’s heart has grown callous; their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back— and I would heal them.

If only you had paid attention to my commands. Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

Throw off all the transgressions you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. Why should you die, house of Israel?For I take no pleasure in anyone’s death.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.“ So repent and live!

Seek the LORD while he may be found; call to him while he is near.

Disagreeing among themselves, they began to leave after Paul made one statement:“ The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your ancestors through the prophet Isaiahwhen he said, Go to these people and say: You will always be listening, but never understanding; and you will always be looking, but never perceiving.For the hearts of these people have grown callous, their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them.

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.See to it that you do not reject the one who speaks. For if they did not escape when they rejected him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven.His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.

And he replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.Make the minds of these people dull; deafen their ears and blind their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.

They will crush you and your children among you to the ground, and they will not leave one stone on another in your midst, because you did not recognize the time when God visited you.”

Paul and Barnabas boldly replied,“ It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you reject it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened,as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.And David says, Let their table become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.Let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and their backs be bent continually.

For the LORD has poured out on you an overwhelming urge to sleep; he has shut your eyes( the prophets) and covered your heads( the seers).For you the entire vision will be like the words of a sealed document. If it is given to one who can read and he is asked to read it, he will say,“ I can’t read it, because it is sealed.”And if the document is given to one who cannot read and he is asked to read it, he will say,“ I can’t read.”The Lord said: These people approach me with their speeches to honor me with lip-service, yet their hearts are far from me, and human rules direct their worship of me.Therefore, I will again confound these people with wonder after wonder. The wisdom of their wise will vanish, and the perception of their perceptive will be hidden.

The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with every kind of miracle, both signs and wonders serving the lie,and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but delighted in unrighteousness.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for he has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

Tell them,‘ As I live— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD— I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked person should turn from his way and live. Repent, repent of your evil ways! Why will you die, house of Israel?’

This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?This is why they were unable to believe, because Isaiah also said:He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke about him.

Therefore let everyone who is faithful pray to you immediately. When great floodwaters come, they will not reach him.

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you hear his voice,

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, the sheep under his care. Today, if you hear his voice:Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as on that day at Massah in the wilderness

If only my people would listen to me and Israel would follow my ways,

If only they had such a heart to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that they and their children would prosper forever.

Whatever house you enter, first say,‘ Peace to this household.’If a person of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

But the angel said to them,“ Don’t be afraid, for look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people:Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.”Suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors!
