As he was drawing near— already on the way down the Mount of Olives— the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen,

When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.

Now he came near the path down the Mount of Olives, and the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:

And as soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,

Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,

And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;

Now He came near the path down the Mount of Olives, and the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:

And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

They took no plunder of silver.From the sky the stars fought. From their courses, they fought against Sisera.The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. Where he bowed, there he fell down dead.“ Through the window she looked out, and cried: Sisera’s mother looked through the lattice.‘ Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots wait?’Her wise ladies answered her, Yes, she returned answer to herself,‘ Have they not found, have they not divided the plunder? A lady, two ladies to every man; to Sisera a plunder of dyed garments, a plunder of dyed garments embroidered, of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the plunder?’“ So let all your enemies perish, Yahweh, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.

On the next day a great multitude had come to the feast. When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet him, and cried out,“ Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!”

When they came near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying,“ A great prophet has arisen among us!” and,“ God has visited his people!”

Immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.

He appointed some of the Levites to minister before Yahweh’s ark, and to commemorate, to thank, and to praise Yahweh, the God of Israel:Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed- Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;with Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to Yahweh, by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.

He stood, and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying,“ Blessed be Yahweh, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. There has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.

All the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished.When they had finished offering, the king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped.Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praises to Yahweh with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. They sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshiped.

David arose, and went with all the people who were with him, from Baale Judah, to bring up from there God’s ark, which is called by the Name, even the name of Yahweh of Armies who sits above the cherubim.They set God’s ark on a new cart, and brought it out of Abinadab’s house that was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drove the new cart.They brought it out of Abinadab’s house, which was in the hill, with God’s ark; and Ahio went before the ark.David and all the house of Israel played before Yahweh with all kinds of instruments made of cypress wood, with harps, with stringed instruments, with tambourines, with castanets, and with cymbals.When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached for God’s ark, and took hold of it; for the cattle stumbled.

Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said,“ I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name.He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said,‘ I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.“ You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.Yahweh will reign forever and ever.”

When the builders laid the foundation of Yahweh’s temple, they set the priests in their clothing with trumpets, with the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise Yahweh, according to the directions of David king of Israel.They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to Yahweh,“ For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised Yahweh, because the foundation of Yahweh’s house had been laid.But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers’ households, the old men who had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice. Many also shouted aloud for joy,so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard far away.

Then they believed his words. They sang his praise.They soon forgot his works. They didn’t wait for his counsel,

When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Thus all Israel brought the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.

Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced, because of that which God had prepared for the people; for the thing was done suddenly.

Another came, saying,‘ Lord, behold, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
