“ He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.

那坐在天上的必冷笑；永恆主必嗤笑他們。那時他必氣忿忿責備他們，必發烈怒使他們驚惶；傳諭旨說：『我，我已立我的君王於錫安、我的聖山上。』

主人就叫管家來，對他說：「我所聽見關於你的這件事、怎麼樣啊？把你的管家職事交代明白吧；你不能再作管家了。」那管家心裏說：「我主人要把管家職事給我撤了，我要作甚麼？鋤地呢、無力；叫化呢、怕羞！我知道要怎麼作了，好叫人們、在我被黜了管家職事以後、可以接納我到他們家去。」於是把他主人的每一個欠債的叫來，對頭一個說：「你欠我主人多少？」他說：「一百簍油。」他對他說：「把你的賬單接過去，趕快坐下去寫五十。」然後對另一個說：「你、欠多少？」他說：「一百石麥子。」他對他說：「把你的賬單接過去，寫八十。」主人就稱讚這不義的管家作事精明。因為對付自己的世代，今世之子竟比亮光之子更精明了。我告訴你們，要用不義的錢財結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，你們便可以被接納到永世的帳幕裏去。在最小的上頭可靠的，在多的上頭也必可靠；在最小的上頭不義的，在多的上頭也必不義。所以你們若在不義的財錢上顯為不可靠，誰還把那真的信託你們呢？你們若在別人的事物上顯為不可靠，誰還把你們自己的給你們呢？一個家僕不能做兩個主人的僕人，因為他不是會厭惡這一個而愛那一個，就是會依附這一個而不顧那一個。你們不能又做上帝的僕人，又做錢財的僕人。』

但是你為甚麼論斷你的弟兄呢？你又為甚麼藐視你的弟兄呢？我們眾人都必站在上帝的審判臺前呢。經上記着說：『主說：我指着永活的我來起誓，眾膝都要向我屈跪，眾舌都要承認上帝為至尊。』這樣看來，我們各人都必將自己的事向上帝供明啊。

所以人應當這樣把我們看為基督的差事，做上帝之奧祕事的管家。不但如此，這裏所求於管家的，就是要他顯為可信靠。論到我呢、我給你們審斷、或是給人類的清算日審斷，在我看都是極小事。其實連我自己也不審斷自己呢。我良知上雖不覺得有甚麼可以自責的地方，我卻不因此就被斷為無罪。審斷我的乃是主。所以定時未到以前、甚麼都不要論斷了；只等主來，他不但要照明暗中的隱密事，也要顯露人心中的計謀；那時應得的稱讚、自會由上帝分給各人了。

至於那不知道、而作了該受鞭打之事的，卻必少受打。凡多給誰，就必向誰多索取；多託付誰，就必格外多地向誰要。

過了許久，那些奴僕的主人來了，和他們算賬。

故此天國好比一個做王的人，想要同他的奴僕算賬。開始算的時候，有一個欠六千萬日工錢的被帶了來，到他面前。因為沒有可償還的，主人就發命令叫他把自己、連妻子帶兒女都賣了做奴僕，並賣所有的一切、來償還。那奴僕就俯伏拜他說：「主啊，寬容我吧，一切我都要還你」。那奴僕的主人動了憐憫的心，就釋放他，免了他的借款。但那奴僕出來，遇見他的一個同伴，欠他一百日工錢的，便抓着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：「你所欠的，都要還！」他的同伴就俯伏求他說：「寬容我吧，我要還你」。他卻不肯，反而去，設法把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。同做奴僕的見了所經過的事，就極其憂愁；去把所經過的一切事都給主人講明。於是主人叫他來，對他說：「惡奴才，因你求了我，那全部的債我都免了你；你豈不應當憐恤和你同做奴僕的，像我憐恤你麼？」主人發怒，就把他送交司刑官，等他償還所欠的一切債。你們若不從心裏各人饒恕他的弟兄，我天父也必這樣待你們。』
