那坐在天上的必發笑；主必嗤笑他們。那時，他要在怒中責備他們，在烈怒中驚嚇他們，說：我已經立我的君在錫安－我的聖山上了。

主人叫他來，對他說：『我聽見你這事怎麼樣呢？把你所經管的交代明白，因你不能再作我的管家。』那管家心裏說：『主人辭我，不用我再作管家，我將來做甚麼？鋤地呢？無力；討飯呢？怕羞。我知道怎麼行，好叫人在我不作管家之後，接我到他們家裏去。』於是把欠他主人債的，一個一個地叫了來，問頭一個說：『你欠我主人多少？』他說：『一百簍油。』管家說：『拿你的帳，快坐下，寫五十。』又問一個說：『你欠多少？』他說：『一百石麥子。』管家說：『拿你的帳，寫八十。』主人就誇獎這不義的管家做事聰明；因為今世之子，在世事之上，較比光明之子更加聰明。我又告訴你們，要藉着那不義的錢財結交朋友，到了錢財無用的時候，他們可以接你們到永存的帳幕裏去。人在最小的事上忠心，在大事上也忠心；在最小的事上不義，在大事上也不義。倘若你們在不義的錢財上不忠心，誰還把那真實的錢財託付你們呢？倘若你們在別人的東西上不忠心，誰還把你們自己的東西給你們呢？一個僕人不能事奉兩個主；不是惡這個愛那個，就是重這個輕那個。你們不能又事奉神，又事奉瑪門。」

你這個人，為甚麼論斷弟兄呢？又為甚麼輕看弟兄呢？因我們都要站在神的臺前。經上寫着：主說：我憑着我的永生起誓：萬膝必向我跪拜；萬口必向我承認。這樣看來，我們各人必要將自己的事在神面前說明。

人應當以我們為基督的執事，為神奧祕事的管家。所求於管家的，是要他有忠心。我被你們論斷，或被別人論斷，我都以為極小的事；連我自己也不論斷自己。我雖不覺得自己有錯，卻也不能因此得以稱義；但判斷我的乃是主。所以，時候未到，甚麼都不要論斷，只等主來，他要照出暗中的隱情，顯明人心的意念。那時，各人要從神那裏得着稱讚。

惟有那不知道的，做了當受責打的事，必少受責打；因為多給誰，就向誰多取；多託誰，就向誰多要。」

過了許久，那些僕人的主人來了，和他們算帳。

天國好像一個王要和他僕人算帳。才算的時候，有人帶了一個欠一千萬銀子的來。因為他沒有甚麼償還之物，主人吩咐把他和他妻子兒女，並一切所有的都賣了償還。那僕人就俯伏拜他，說：『主啊，寬容我，將來我都要還清。』那僕人的主人就動了慈心，把他釋放了，並且免了他的債。「那僕人出來，遇見他的一個同伴欠他十兩銀子，便揪着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：『你把所欠的還我！』他的同伴就俯伏央求他，說：『寬容我吧，將來我必還清。』他不肯，竟去把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。眾同伴看見他所做的事就甚憂愁，去把這事都告訴了主人。於是主人叫了他來，對他說：『你這惡奴才！你央求我，我就把你所欠的都免了，你不應當憐恤你的同伴，像我憐恤你嗎？』主人就大怒，把他交給掌刑的，等他還清了所欠的債。你們各人若不從心裏饒恕你的弟兄，我天父也要這樣待你們了。」
