我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,

Then they will deliver you up to oppression, and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.Many false prophets will arise, and will lead many astray.Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.But he who endures to the end will be saved.

As it was in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.They ate, they drank, they married, and they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and the flood came and destroyed them all.Likewise, even as it was in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky and destroyed them all.It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.

In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Hurry to answer me, Yahweh. My spirit fails. Don’t hide your face from me, so that I don’t become like those who go down into the pit.Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.Deliver me, Yahweh, from my enemies. I flee to you to hide me.

But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you.Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth- eaten.Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.You have lived in luxury on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts as in a day of slaughter.You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
