我告訴你們，他總要快快地給他們伸冤的。然而人子來的時候，難道得見信心在地上麼？』

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

我們要持守所信認的盼望、不偏不離，因為那發應許的乃可信可靠。我們應當留心思想要怎樣彼此激發愛心與好行為；不要乘危離棄我們的聚會，像有些人慣於這樣；倒要彼此勸勉；見那日子臨近，更要如此。因為我們領受了真理之認識以後，若故意犯罪，就不再有為罪獻的祭保留着了，

『那時人必將你們送交苦難中，殺害你們；你們必為我的名被萬國恨惡。那時必有許多人要絆跌，要彼此送官，彼此恨惡；必有許多假神言人要起來，迷惑許多人。因了不法行為之加多，許多人的愛心就冷淡了。惟獨堅忍到末終的，才能得救。

在挪亞的日子怎樣，在人子的日子也必怎樣；人喫喝嫁娶，直到挪亞進樓船那一天，洪水一來，把他們都滅了。又好像在羅得的日子一樣；人喫喝買賣，栽種建造；但羅得從所多瑪出來那一天，上帝從天上下火雨跟硫磺雨，把他們都滅了。在人子顯示出來的日子也必如此。

他們並且要本着貪婪的心、用揑造的話、在你們身上牟取財利。他們之定受處刑從太古以來就沒有懶於執行；他們之定必滅亡並沒有打盹過。

但親愛的、這一點你們可別忘了：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。關於所應許的、主並不躭延，像有些人就看為躭延了；不，他乃是以恆忍待你們的；他不願有人滅亡，惟願人人都進到悔改的地步。

永恆主啊，趕快應我吧！我的心靈衰殘；不要掩面不顧我呀！免得我跟下陰坑的人相似。求你使我於早晨飽得你的堅愛，因為我倚靠你；求你使我知道我應當走的路，因為我的心仰望着你。永恆主啊，援救我脫離我的仇敵哦！我是逃到你這裏來避難的。

弟兄們，關於時候與時期、你們無需乎人寫信給你們了，因為你們自己明確地曉得主的日子就像個賊夜裏來到一樣。人正說平安穩妥的時候，就在那時、突來的死滅就臨到他們了——正如產難臨到懷孕的婦人一樣——他們斷不能逃脫。

上帝在那中間，城必不搖動；天未亮、上帝就幫助這城。

來，如今請注意！富足的人哪，應當因你們的慘難、那將要臨到的慘難、來哭泣號咷。你們的財富朽壞了；你們的衣裳給蟲子蛀了；你們的金銀長鏽了；它們的鏽必作證定你們的罪，必像火一樣喫你們的肉。在末後的日子，你們還積藏了財寶！看哪、那些割你們田地的工人、他們被你們詐欠的工錢正喊叫呢；那些收割之人的哀呼聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上宴樂奢侈；當屠宰的日子還養肥了自己！你們定了義人的罪，把他殺了；他不敵擋你們！所以弟兄們，你們要恆忍，等到主御臨。你看農夫期待着地裏的寶貴果實，就為了這個而恆忍，等到得了秋霖春雨。你們也要恆忍，使心裏堅固，因為主的御臨近了。

因為有假基督假神言人將要起來，施行大神迹奇事，為的是、如果可能、連蒙揀選的人也要加以迷惑。
