我告訴你們，要快快地給他們伸冤了。然而，人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德嗎？」

我告诉你们：他会很快地给他们主持公道。不过人子回来的时候，难道在地上能找到这样的信仰吗？”

我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

也要堅守我們所承認的指望，不致搖動，因為那應許我們的是信實的。又要彼此相顧，激發愛心，勉勵行善。你們不可停止聚會，好像那些停止慣了的人，倒要彼此勸勉，既知道那日子臨近，就更當如此。因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了；

那時，人要把你們陷在患難裏，也要殺害你們；你們又要為我的名被萬民恨惡。那時，必有許多人跌倒，也要彼此陷害，彼此恨惡；且有好些假先知起來，迷惑多人。只因不法的事增多，許多人的愛心才漸漸冷淡了。惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。

挪亞的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。那時候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。又好像羅得的日子；人又吃又喝，又買又賣，又耕種又蓋造。到羅得出所多瑪的那日，就有火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅了。人子顯現的日子也要這樣。

他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必速速來到。

親愛的弟兄啊，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是躭延，其實不是躭延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。

耶和華啊，求你速速應允我！我心神耗盡！不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。求你使我清晨得聽你慈愛之言，因我倚靠你；求你使我知道當行的路，因我的心仰望你。耶和華啊，求你救我脫離我的仇敵！我往你那裏藏身。

弟兄們，論到時候、日期，不用寫信給你們，因為你們自己明明曉得，主的日子來到，好像夜間的賊一樣。人正說「平安穩妥」的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同產難臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

神在其中，城必不動搖；到天一亮，神必幫助這城。

嗐！你們這些富足人哪，應當哭泣、號咷，因為將有苦難臨到你們身上。你們的財物壞了，衣服也被蟲子咬了。你們的金銀都長了銹；那銹要證明你們的不是，又要吃你們的肉，如同火燒。你們在這末世只知積攢錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼，你們虧欠他們的工錢，這工錢有聲音呼叫，並且那收割之人的冤聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。你們在世上享美福，好宴樂，當宰殺的日子竟嬌養你們的心。你們定了義人的罪，把他殺害，他也不抵擋你們。弟兄們哪，你們要忍耐，直到主來。看哪，農夫忍耐等候地裏寶貴的出產，直到得了秋雨春雨。你們也當忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主來的日子近了。

因為假基督、假先知將要起來，顯大神蹟、大奇事，倘若能行，連選民也就迷惑了。
