我告訴你們：他會很快地給他們主持公道。不過人子回來的時候，難道在地上能找到這樣的信仰嗎？」

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

讓我們毫不動搖地持守所告白的盼望，因為向我們應許的那一位是信實的；讓我們彼此看顧，好激勵愛心和美好的工作。你們不要放棄自己的聚會，像某些人所習慣的那樣，而要彼此鼓勵；你們既然看見那日子臨近，就更應該這樣。要知道，我們領受了真理的知識以後，如果還故意犯罪，就不再有贖罪的祭物被保留下來；

「那時，他們將要出賣你們，使你們受患難，甚至殺害你們。為了我的名，你們將被萬民憎恨。那時，許多人將被絆倒，彼此出賣，彼此憎恨；並且會有許多假先知起來，迷惑許多人；由於罪惡增多，許多人的愛心就會冷淡。但是忍耐到底的，這個人將會得救。

「在挪亞的那些日子裡發生的怎樣，在人子的那些日子裡也將要怎樣：人們繼續吃、喝、嫁、娶，直到挪亞進方舟的那一天，洪水到來，把一切都毀滅了。同樣，就像在羅得的那些日子裡發生的那樣：人們繼續吃喝、買賣、耕種、建造，到了羅得離開所多瑪的那一天，烈火和硫磺就從天而降，把一切都毀滅了。人子顯現的那一天，也將是同樣的。

他們因著貪心，會用捏造的話利用你們。對他們的懲罰，從太古的時候就沒有失效，他們的滅亡也不耽延。

可是，各位蒙愛的人哪，你們不可忽略這一點：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。主沒有像有些人認為的那樣，拖延所應許的；相反，他對你們恆久忍耐，不願任何人滅亡，而願所有人都來悔改。

耶和華啊，求你快快回應我，我的靈衰竭了！不要向我隱藏你的臉，免得我與下陰坑的人一樣。求你使我在清晨聽見你慈愛的聲音，因為我依靠你；求你使我明白我當走的道路，因為我的靈魂仰望你。耶和華啊，求你解救我脫離我的仇敵，我要在你那裡藏身！

弟兄們，關於這些時候和日期，你們不需要我寫什麼給你們了。因為你們自己明確地知道，主的日子來臨，就像夜裡的賊來臨那樣。當人們正說「和平」、「安全」的時候，毀滅那時就突然臨到他們，就像孕婦的臨產陣痛那樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

神在這城當中，城就不致動搖；清晨來臨，神就幫助她。

現在來吧，你們這些富有的人哪！應當為那些將要臨到你們的慘禍而痛哭、哀號！你們的財富腐爛了；你們的衣服被蟲蛀了；你們的金銀也生鏽了，這鏽將成為控告你們的見證，又要像火那樣吃你們的肉。在這末後的日子裡，你們竟然積蓄財富！看哪！工人收割你們的田地，你們所剋扣他們的工錢正在呼叫，收割者的冤聲也已經達到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在地上奢侈生活、享樂度日，為宰殺的日子養肥了自己的心！你們把義人定了罪、把他殺害了，他沒有抗拒你們。所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。你們也當恆久忍耐，堅固你們的心，因為主的來臨已經近了。

因為假基督們和假先知們會出現，行大神蹟和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙揀選的人。
