我告訴你們，祂必很快為他們伸冤。不過當人子來的時候，在世上找得到有信心的人嗎？」

我語汝、必速伸之矣、雖然、人子至、將見信於世乎、○

吾語汝、冤之伸也忽焉、人子至、詎見信於世乎、○

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

予實語爾、天主必迅予昭雪矣。雖然、人子重臨之日、猶能見篤信之德、存於人世否乎？』

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

I tell you, God will see that things are made right for them. He will make sure it happens quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find people on earth who have faith?”

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

我們要堅定不移地持守我們所認定的盼望，因為賜應許的那位是信實的。我們要想辦法彼此相顧，激發愛心，勉勵行善。不要停止聚會，像那些停止慣了的人，要互相鼓勵，特別是你們知道主再來的日子近了。因為我們知道了真理以後，若仍然故意犯罪，就再沒有贖罪祭了，

「那時，你們將遭人迫害、殺害，並因我的名而被萬民憎恨。那時，許多人會放棄信仰，互相出賣，彼此憎恨。許多假先知也會出現，迷惑許多人。由於罪惡氾濫，許多人的愛逐漸冷淡。但堅忍到底的必定得救。

「人子降臨時的情形將像挪亞的時代，人們吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亞進入方舟那天，洪水來了，毀滅了他們；又像羅得的時代，人們吃喝、做買賣、耕地、蓋房。在羅得離開所多瑪那天，烈火和硫磺從天而降，把他們全毀滅了。「人子顯現之日的情形也是如此。

他們貪婪成性，想用花言巧語在你們身上謀利。這種人的刑罰自古已經判定，他們很快就會滅亡。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，有一件事你們不可忽略，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主的應許還未實現，有人以為祂拖延，其實祂不是拖延，而是在寬容你們。祂不願任何人滅亡，願意人人悔改。

耶和華啊，求你快快應允我！我已絕望，求你不要掩面不顧我，不然我必和下墳墓的人無異。求你讓我在清晨就聽見你的慈言愛語，因為我信靠你；求你指示我當走的路，因為我的心仰望你。耶和華啊，求你救我脫離仇敵，我要到你那裡尋求庇護。

弟兄姊妹，這件事會在什麼日期、什麼時候發生，不必我寫信告訴你們，因為你們已經清楚知道，將來有一天，主會突然來到，像賊在夜裡忽然出現一樣。當人們正在說一切平安穩妥的時候，災禍會像產痛臨到孕婦一樣突然臨到他們，令他們無法逃脫。

上帝住在城裡，城必屹立不倒。天一亮，上帝必幫助這城。

你們這些富有的人啊！為那將要臨到你們身上的災難痛哭哀號吧！你們的財物朽壞了，衣服也被蟲蛀了。你們的金銀生了鏽，那鏽必要指控你們，像火一樣吞噬你們的身體。在末世的日子裡，你們只知道積攢財寶。工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在世上奢侈享樂，在被宰殺的日子裡，把自己養得肥肥胖胖。你們冤枉好人、殘害無辜，他們也沒有反抗。弟兄姊妹，你們要一直忍耐到主來。你們看農夫怎樣耐心等候地裡寶貴的出產，等候秋雨和春雨的降臨。同樣，你們也要忍耐，心志堅定，因為主快來了。

因為假基督和假先知將出現，行很大的神蹟奇事來迷惑人，如果可能，甚至要迷惑上帝揀選的子民。
