And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?

難道神絕不會給那些他所揀選、日夜向他呼求的人主持公道嗎？難道神會耽誤幫助他們嗎？

況上帝選民晝夜呼籲、雖久忍之、豈不伸其冤乎、

上帝選民、晝夜籲禱、其應或遲、豈不終伸其冤乎、

天主之選民、晝夜籲禱天主、其應允或遲、豈不終伸其冤乎、

況在天主、焉能不聽其選民之日夜呼籲、而為之昭雪乎？又焉能漠視其困苦、而久置不理乎？

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

God’s chosen people cry out to him day and night. Won’t he make things right for them? Will he keep putting them off?

And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?

Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

Will not God grant justice to his elect who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay helping them?

now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?

And shall not God avenge his elect, that cry to him day and night, and yet he is longsuffering over them?

Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?

Won’t God avenge his chosen ones who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them?

And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.

But the Lord is with me as a mighty, awesome One. Therefore my persecutors will stumble, and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.But, O Lord of hosts, You who test the righteous, And see the mind and heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them; For I have pleaded my cause before You.Sing to the Lord! Praise the Lord! For He has delivered the life of the poor From the hand of evildoers.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:“ For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

O Lord, God of my salvation, I have cried out day and night before You.

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect what is lacking in your faith?

and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

How long, O Lord? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

David said furthermore,“ As the Lord lives, the Lord shall strike him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall go out to battle and perish.The Lord forbid that I should stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed. But please, take now the spear and the jug of water that are by his head, and let us go.”

I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,

Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none.The Lord is King forever and ever; The nations have perished out of His land.Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear,To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more.

Let the Lord judge between you and me, and let the Lord avenge me on you. But my hand shall not be against you.As the proverb of the ancients says,‘ Wickedness proceeds from the wicked.’ But my hand shall not be against you.After whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom do you pursue? A dead dog? A flea?Therefore let the Lord be judge, and judge between you and me, and see and plead my case, and deliver me out of your hand.”

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.
