So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him,“ You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

When Jesus heard this, he said to him,“ You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.

Jesus said to him,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

“ And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

Then He said to them all,“ If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

“ Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Then Peter answered and said to Him,“ See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?”So Jesus said to them,“ Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him,“ Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.”And Jesus said to him,“ Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”Then He said to another,“ Follow Me.” But he said,“ Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”Jesus said to him,“ Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.”And another also said,“ Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.”But Jesus said to him,“ No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles( which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
