Then he said,“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,

Call them all together— men, women, children, and the foreigners living in your towns— so they may hear this Book of Instruction and learn to fear the Lord your God and carefully obey all the terms of these instructions.

Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind.

Your little ones and your wives are with you, as well as the foreigners living among you who chop your wood and carry your water.

As all the men of Judah stood before the Lord with their little ones, wives, and children,

And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants.

Eight days after Isaac was born, Abraham circumcised him as God had commanded.

This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away— all who have been called by the Lord our God.”

For the believing wife brings holiness to her marriage, and the believing husband brings holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not be holy, but now they are holy.

Then Jacob blessed Pharaoh again before leaving his court.So Joseph assigned the best land of Egypt— the region of Rameses— to his father and his brothers, and he settled them there, just as Pharaoh had commanded.And Joseph provided food for his father and his brothers in amounts appropriate to the number of their dependents, including the smallest children.Meanwhile, the famine became so severe that all the food was used up, and people were starving throughout the lands of Egypt and Canaan.By selling grain to the people, Joseph eventually collected all the money in Egypt and Canaan, and he put the money in Pharaoh’s treasury.
