Gather the people– men, women, and children, as well as the resident foreigners in your villages– so they may hear and thus learn about and fear the LORD your God and carefully obey all the words of this law.

Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

your infants, your wives, and the foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–

All the men of Judah were standing before the LORD, along with their infants, wives, and children.

I will give them a single-minded purpose to live in a way that always shows respect for me. They will want to do that for their own good and the good of the children who descend from them.

He gave them territory in the land of Egypt, in the best region of the land, the land of Rameses, just as Pharaoh had commanded.Joseph also provided food for his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household, according to the number of their little children.But there was no food in all the land because the famine was very severe; the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan wasted away because of the famine.Joseph collected all the money that could be found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan as payment for the grain they were buying. Then Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s palace.
