說：「我確實地告訴你們：你們如果不回轉，變得像小孩子一樣，絕不能進入天國。所以，誰像這小孩子自我降卑，誰在天國裡就更大。

要像剛出生的嬰孩一樣，愛慕那純淨的話語之奶，好使你們藉著它成長，以至於救恩，

弟兄們，你們在思想上不要做小孩子，但是在惡事上要做嬰孩，在思想上要做成熟的人。

亞伯拉罕在兒子以撒生下來的第八天，照著神所吩咐的，給他行了割禮。

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，以及所有在遠處的人，就是主我們的神所召來的人。」

因為那不信的丈夫因著妻子就得以聖潔了；而那不信的妻子也因著丈夫得以聖潔了；否則，你們的兒女就是不潔淨的；但如今他們是聖潔的。

雅各又為法老祝福，就從法老面前出去了。約瑟照著法老的吩咐讓他的父親和兄弟們安置下來，又把埃及地最好的地方，就是蘭塞境內的地，給他們作產業。約瑟以孩童人數為基準，供應糧食給他的父親、他的兄弟們以及他父親的全家。當時全地都沒有糧食，因為饑荒極其嚴重；埃及地和迦南地都因饑荒的緣故而衰竭。約瑟收聚了埃及地和迦南地能找到的所有銀子，就是眾人用來買糧的銀子；約瑟把那些銀子都交到法老家。
