说：“我确实地告诉你们：你们如果不回转，变得像小孩子一样，绝不能进入天国。所以，谁像这小孩子自我降卑，谁在天国里就更大。

要像刚出生的婴孩一样，爱慕那纯净的话语之奶，好使你们藉着它成长，以至于救恩，

弟兄们，你们在思想上不要做小孩子，但是在恶事上要做婴孩，在思想上要做成熟的人。

亚伯拉罕在儿子以撒生下来的第八天，照着神所吩咐的，给他行了割礼。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，以及所有在远处的人，就是主我们的神所召来的人。”

因为那不信的丈夫因着妻子就得以圣洁了；而那不信的妻子也因着丈夫得以圣洁了；否则，你们的儿女就是不洁净的；但如今他们是圣洁的。

雅各又为法老祝福，就从法老面前出去了。约瑟照着法老的吩咐让他的父亲和兄弟们安置下来，又把埃及地最好的地方，就是兰塞境内的地，给他们作产业。约瑟以孩童人数为基准，供应粮食给他的父亲、他的兄弟们以及他父亲的全家。当时全地都没有粮食，因为饥荒极其严重；埃及地和迦南地都因饥荒的缘故而衰竭。约瑟收聚了埃及地和迦南地能找到的所有银子，就是众人用来买粮的银子；约瑟把那些银子都交到法老家。
