Jesus summoned them, saying,“ Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t hinder them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.

“我实在告诉你们，如果你们不回转，变成像小孩子一样，一定不能进天国。所以，凡谦卑像这小孩子的，他在天国里是最大的。

像初生婴孩爱慕那纯净的灵奶，好叫你们靠它长大，进入救恩；

你要召集人民、男人、女人、孩子，以及你城里的寄居者，叫他们可以听见，叫他们可以学习，好敬畏耶和华你们的神，谨守遵行这律法的一切话，

弟兄们，你们在思想上不要作小孩子，却要在恶事上作婴孩，在思想上作成年人。

你们的小孩、妻子和在你营中的寄居者，以及为你们劈柴挑水的人，都站在耶和华你们的神面前，

那时全犹大的人，连他们的婴孩、妻子和儿女，都站在耶和华面前。

我要使他们有同一的心志和同一的行为，终生敬畏我，使他们和他们的子孙都得到福乐。

亚伯拉罕的儿子以撒生下来第八天，亚伯拉罕就照着神吩咐他的，给以撒行了割礼。

这应许原是给你们和你们的儿女，以及所有在远方的人，就是给凡是我们主神召来归他的人。”

因为不信的丈夫因着妻子成为圣洁，不信的妻子也因着那个弟兄成为圣洁了。不然，你们的儿女就是不洁净的，但现在他们都是圣洁的了。

雅各又给法老祝福，然后离开法老出去了。约瑟照着法老的吩咐安置他的父亲和兄弟们，把兰塞地，就是埃及地最好的地方，给他们作产业。约瑟照着孩子的数目，用粮食供养他的父亲、兄弟们，以及父亲的家人。那时，遍地都没有粮食，因为饥荒非常严重。埃及地和迦南地的人，因为饥荒的缘故都饿昏了。约瑟收集了埃及地和迦南地所有的银子，就是众人买粮的银子；约瑟就把那些银子交到法老的王宫去。
