“我实在告诉你们，你们若不变得像小孩子那样，绝不能进天国。所以，凡像这小孩子一样谦卑的人，在天国才是最伟大的。

就要像初生的婴儿一样渴慕纯净的灵奶，好不断成长，直到完全得救。

要招聚所有男女、孩童以及住在你们中间的外族人，让他们聆听这律法，学习敬畏你们的上帝耶和华，谨遵律法上的一切话。

弟兄姊妹，你们的思想不要像小孩子，要长大成熟，但在罪恶的事上要像婴孩。

你们的孩子、妻子和寄居在你们中间为你们砍柴挑水的外族人，

犹大人与他们的妻子、儿女和婴孩都站在耶和华面前。

我要使他们永远全心全意地敬畏我，使他们和子孙得到福乐。

以撒出生后第八天，亚伯拉罕就照着上帝的吩咐为他行了割礼。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，以及远方的人，就是所有被主——我们的上帝呼召的人。”

因为不信的丈夫因妻子而得以圣洁了。同样，不信的妻子也因丈夫而得以圣洁了。否则你们的孩子就是不洁净的，但如今他们是圣洁的。

雅各为法老祝福后，就告退了。约瑟遵照法老之命把埃及最好的地方——兰塞境内的土地给他父亲和弟兄们居住，作他们的产业。约瑟按各家人口提供粮食给父亲、弟兄及其他家人。饥荒很严重，到处都缺粮，埃及和迦南都饱受饥荒之苦。约瑟把埃及人和迦南人向他买粮的银子收集起来，存放在法老的库房里。
