But I call to God, and the LORD will save me.I complain and groan morning, noon, and night, and he hears my voice.

I can’t get up to give you anything.’I tell you, even though he won’t get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his friend’s shameless boldness, he will get up and give him as much as he needs.“ So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.

I cry to you, LORD; I say,“ You are my shelter, my portion in the land of the living.”Listen to my cry, for I am very weak. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.Free me from prison so that I can praise your name. The righteous will gather around me because you deal generously with me.

As my life was fading away, I remembered the LORD, and my prayer came to you, to your holy temple.

All humanity will come to you, the one who hears prayer.

I am certain that I will see the LORD’s goodness in the land of the living.

For what hope does the godless person have when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?Will God hear his cry when distress comes on him?Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?
