倘一日得罪爾七次、又一日七次就爾曰、我悔矣、爾必恕之、○

倘彼於一日之內、七次獲罪於爾、而七次向爾鳴悔、亦當恕之。』

Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying‘ I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Suppose they sin against you seven times in one day. And suppose they come back to you each time and say,‘ I’m sorry.’ You must forgive them.”

Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

那時，彼得進前來，對耶穌說：「主啊，我弟兄得罪我，我當饒恕他幾次呢？到七次夠嗎？」耶穌說：「我告訴你，不是到七次，而是到七十個七次。

所以，你們既是神的選民，聖潔、蒙愛的人，要穿上憐憫、恩慈、謙虛、溫柔和忍耐。倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此容忍，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。

不但如此，「你的仇敵若餓了，就給他吃；若渴了，就給他喝。因為你這樣做，就是把炭火堆在他的頭上。」

你們若饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們；你們若不饒恕人，你們的天父也必不饒恕你們的過犯。」

一切苦毒、憤怒、惱恨、嚷鬧、毀謗，和一切的惡毒都要從你們中間除掉。要仁慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如神在基督裏饒恕了你們一樣。

你們各人若不從心裏饒恕你的弟兄，我天父也要這樣待你們。」

但是我告訴你們：要愛你們的仇敵，為那迫害你們的禱告。

他若不聽，你就另外帶一個或兩個人同去，因為『任何指控都要憑兩個或三個證人的口述才能成立』。

免我們的債，如同我們免了人的債。

愛是恆久忍耐；又有恩慈；愛是不嫉妒；愛是不自誇，不張狂，不做害羞的事，不求自己的益處，不輕易發怒，不計算人的惡，不喜歡不義，只喜歡真理；凡事包容，凡事相信，凡事盼望，凡事忍耐。

弟兄們，你們行善不可喪志。若有人不聽從我們這信上的話，要把他記下，不和他交往，使他自覺羞愧；
