倘彼於一日之內、七次獲罪於爾、而七次向爾鳴悔、亦當恕之。』

倘若他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转，说：‘我懊悔了’，你总要饶恕他。”

就算他一天得罪你七次，每次都对你说，‘我悔改’，你都要饶恕他。”

如果他一天七次得罪你，又七次回转，对你说：‘我懊悔了！’你总要饶恕他。”

如果他一天七次对你犯了罪，又七次回转过来，对你说：‘我悔改！’你要饶恕他。”

倘若他一天七次得罪你，又七次回轉，說：『我懊悔了』，你總要饒恕他。」

如果他一天七次得罪你，又七次回頭，說：『我懊悔了』，你總要饒恕他。」

如果他一天七次得罪你，又七次回頭，說：『我懊悔了』，你總要饒恕他。」

就算他一天得罪你七次，每次都對你說，『我悔改』，你都要饒恕他。」

如果他一天七次得罪你，又七次回轉，對你說：‘我懊悔了！’你總要饒恕他。”

倘若他一天七次得罪了你，又七次回轉過來，對你說：「我悔改了」，你也該饒恕他。』

儻一日獲罪於爾者七、反而語爾者亦七、曰、我悔矣、則爾必恕之、○

倘一日獲罪爾至七、一日自反至七、曰、我悔、爾必免之、○

倘一日得罪爾七次、又一日七次就爾曰、我悔矣、爾必恕之、○

Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying‘ I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Suppose they sin against you seven times in one day. And suppose they come back to you each time and say,‘ I’m sorry.’ You must forgive them.”

and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and comes back to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

伯鐸祿進曰：『主、若有兄弟頻獲罪於我、當寬恕幾次、七次足乎？』耶穌曰：『吾語爾不僅七次而已、必也七十倍之七次乎。

爾等既為天主寵愛之子民、亟宜以慈善、謙恭、忍耐為佩、寬容大量、彼此體諒、即有釁隙、亦宜相恕；爾之恕人、當如主之恕爾也。

故曰：『敵人飢則食之、渴則飲之、是不啻以烈火加厥頂。』

蓋爾恕人之過、天父亦必爾恕；爾不恕人、爾父亦不恕爾之過矣。

凡怨恨忿怒、諠鬧毀謗、以及一切惡意、皆爾所應痛絕。彼此當以忠厚相待、慈悲為懷、互相寬恕、亦如天主之因基督而寬恕於爾也。

倘爾不本真心、各恕兄弟、則在天我父亦將以是待爾焉。』

惟吾語爾、愛爾仇讐、為辱爾者禱、

弗聽、則攜一二人偕往；有二三人為證、言乃足徵。

鑒我恕人過、吾過仰包荒；

夫愛之為德、寬裕含忍、愷悌慈祥、不忮不求、不矜不伐、明廉知恥、尚義敦禮、於利不貪、見忤不怒、不念惡、不逆詐、不樂人之非、惟樂人之是；無所不容、無所不信、無所不望、無所不忍。

同時望我兄弟繼續為善、孳孳不倦。倘若有人不從此書之訓、當注意其人、羞與為伍、以激發其廉恥之心。
