倘一日得罪爾七次、又一日七次就爾曰、我悔矣、爾必恕之、○

倘彼於一日之內、七次獲罪於爾、而七次向爾鳴悔、亦當恕之。』

Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying‘ I repent,’ you must forgive them.”

Suppose they sin against you seven times in one day. And suppose they come back to you each time and say,‘ I’m sorry.’ You must forgive them.”

Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”

彼得上前问耶稣：“主啊，如果我的弟兄得罪了我，我该饶恕他多少次呢？七次够了吧？”耶稣回答说：“我告诉你，不是七次，是七十个七次。

所以，你们既然是上帝所拣选的，是圣洁、蒙爱的人，就要心存怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔和忍耐。倘若彼此之间有怨言，总要互相宽容，彼此饶恕，主怎样饶恕你们，你们也要照样饶恕他人。

所以，“你的仇敌若饿了，就给他吃的；若渴了，就给他喝的；你这样做是把炭火堆在他头上。”

“如果你们饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们的过犯。如果你们不饶恕别人的过犯，你们的天父也不会饶恕你们的过犯。

要从你们当中除掉一切的苦毒、恼恨、怒气、争吵、毁谤和邪恶。总要以恩慈、怜悯的心彼此相待，要互相饶恕，正如上帝在基督里饶恕了你们一样。

如果你们不从心里饶恕自己的弟兄，我的天父也要这样对待你们。”

但我告诉你们，要爱仇敌，为迫害你们的人祷告。

如果他不听劝告，你就带一两位弟兄去见他，让两三个人为谈话作证。

饶恕我们的罪，就像我们饶恕了得罪我们的人。

爱是恒久忍耐，又有恩慈；爱是不嫉妒，不自吹自擂，不骄傲自大，不轻浮无礼，不自私自利，不轻易动怒，不怀怨记恨，不喜爱不义，只喜爱真理；凡事能包容，凡事有信心，凡事有盼望，凡事能忍耐。

弟兄姊妹，你们要坚持行善，不要灰心。如果有人不听从这信上的教导，要注意提防他，不要和他来往，好使他羞愧。
