On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.

Suppose someone is on the housetop on that day. And suppose what they own is inside the house. They should not go down to get what they own. No one in the field should go back for anything either.

On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back.

On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home.

“当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的可憎之物’站在不当站的地方时（读者须会意），住在犹太地区的人要逃到山上去；在屋顶上的人不要下来，不要进房屋收拾行李；在田间的人不要回家取外衣。

你想为自己谋求大事吗？不要谋求，因为我要给世人降下灾祸。但不论你到哪里，我必使你保住性命。这是耶和华说的。’”

但是为了基督，我从前以为有价值的，现在认为毫无价值。不但如此，我看万事都毫无价值，因为认识我主基督耶稣最宝贵。我为祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切视为垃圾，好得到基督，

在屋顶上的人不要下来进屋收拾行李，在田间工作的人也不要回家取外衣。那时，孕妇和哺育婴儿的母亲们可就遭殃了！你们要祈求上帝，不要让你们在冬天或安息日逃难。因为那时世上将有空前绝后的大灾难。

那时，住在犹太地区的人要赶快逃到山上去，住在城里的人要跑到城外，住在乡村的人不要进城，

人若赚得全世界，却丧失自己的生命，又有什么益处呢？人还能拿什么换回自己的生命呢？

撒旦回答说：“人会以皮换皮，为了保全生命，情愿舍弃一切。

“所以我告诉你们，不要为生活忧虑，如吃什么、喝什么，也不要为身体忧虑，如穿什么。难道生命不比饮食重要吗？身体不比穿着重要吗？
