As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour[ cities] thereof, saith the LORD;[ so] shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

How shall I give thee up, Ephraim?[ how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah?[ how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
