如羅得時、其人飲食貿易、樹蓺搆造、

又如羅德之日、人方飲食貿易、樹藝建築、晏如也。

It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot: People went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building.

日暮、二天使至所多瑪、時、羅得坐於邑門、見之、遂起迎迓、俯伏於地、曰、吾主請入僕舍、濯足而宿、夙興行路、曰、否、我將宿於衢、羅得切切以邀之、乃入其室、為之設筵、炊無酵餅、彼乃食焉、尚未寢、所多瑪邑民無論老少咸集、環其屋、呼羅得曰、今晚就爾之人何在、可出之、以遂我欲、羅得出、閉門、就眾曰、兄弟毋作斯惡、我有二女、尚未適人、容我出之、任爾所為、惟此人既入我室、請毋擾之、曰、爾速退、又曰、斯人旅此、乃欲治我耶、今將害爾、較彼尤甚、遂催迫羅得、進前、欲破其門、二人手援羅得入室、而閉其門、且使眾於門外、自老到幼、目矇不明、索門不得、二人謂羅得曰、爾在此尚有眷屬呼、或子或女或壻、凡邑中所有者、可攜之出離斯處、蓋我儕將滅是處、因是處之人罪惡甚大、彰聞於主、故主遣我滅之、羅得出、謂將娶其二女之壻曰、起、出此處、主將滅是邑、其壻以為戲言、及旦、天使促羅得曰、起、攜妻、及在此二女皆出、恐因邑中罪惡、亦致滅亡、羅得遲延、因主矜恤羅得、二人乃援其手、及其妻與二女之手、咸導之出、置於邑外、既導之出外、乃曰、爾當逃遁、以保全生命、毋回顧、毋止平原、當遁於山、免爾滅亡、羅得曰、主、不可、僕已蒙主恩、向我大施仁慈、以全我命、今不及逃於山、恐遭災而亡、前有一邑、小且近、易於逃遁、此邑非小乎、容我逃彼、以全我命、曰、此事我亦允爾、不滅爾所言之邑、爾其速遁於彼、爾尚未至、吾不能行事、因邑甚小、故名瑣珥、瑣珥譯即小之義日方出、羅得入瑣珥、主雨硫磺與火於所多瑪俄摩拉、乃主自天降之、或作主於所多瑪及俄摩拉由主前自天降硫磺與火以城邑平原居民、及地所產之物、盡滅之、羅得妻回顧、變為鹽柱、亞伯拉罕夙興、至昔覲主之處、向所多瑪俄摩拉與平原一境觀望、見其地煙焰上騰、如窰之煙然、

所多瑪人為惡、大獲罪於主前、

主曰、所多瑪俄摩拉兇惡貫盈、罪孽甚重、彰聞於我、我欲降臨鑒其所行、果如我所聞必滅之、否則亦知之、
