“ Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

“ Remember how it was in the days of Noah. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes.

Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

“ When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day.

“ Just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man:

And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man:

And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:

And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Just as it was in the days of Noah, so too it will be in the days of the Son of Man.

As it was in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.

By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

As the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark.They didn’t know until the flood came and swept them all away. So this is the way the coming of the Son of Man will be:

and if He didn’t spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others, when He brought a flood on the world of the ungodly;

So Noah, his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives entered the ark because of the waters of the flood.From the clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and every creature that crawls on the ground,two of each, male and female, entered the ark with Noah, just as God had commanded him.Seven days later the waters of the flood came on the earth.In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the sources of the watery depths burst open, the floodgates of the sky were opened,and the rain fell on the earth 40 days and 40 nights.On that same day Noah along with his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, Noah’s wife, and his three sons’ wives entered the ark with him.They entered it with all the wildlife according to their kinds, all livestock according to their kinds, the creatures that crawl on the earth according to their kinds, all birds, every fowl, and everything with wings according to their kinds.Two of all flesh that has the breath of life in it entered the ark with Noah.Those that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered just as God had commanded him. Then the Lord shut him in.The flood continued for 40 days on the earth; the waters increased and lifted up the ark so that it rose above the earth.The waters surged and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.Then the waters surged even higher on the earth, and all the high mountains under the whole sky were covered.The mountains were covered as the waters surged above them more than 20 feet.Every creature perished— those that crawl on the earth, birds, livestock, wildlife, and those that swarm on the earth, as well as all mankind.Everything with the breath of the spirit of life in its nostrils— everything on dry land died.He wiped out every living thing that was on the surface of the ground, from mankind to livestock, to creatures that crawl, to the birds of the sky, and they were wiped off the earth. Only Noah was left, and those that were with him in the ark.

Then He told the disciples:“ The days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you won’t see it.

In that state He also went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prisonwho in the past were disobedient, when God patiently waited in the days of Noah while an ark was being prepared. In it a few— that is, eight people— were saved through water.

When the Lord saw that man’s wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time,

Through these waters the world of that time perished when it was flooded.

Will you continue on the ancient path that wicked men have walked?They were snatched away before their time, and their foundations were washed away by a river.They were the ones who said to God,“ Leave us alone!” and“ What can the Almighty do to us?”But it was He who filled their houses with good things. The counsel of the wicked is far from me!

Then the Lord said,“ I will wipe off from the face of the earth mankind, whom I created, together with the animals, creatures that crawl, and birds of the sky— for I regret that I made them.”

For as the lightning flashes from horizon to horizon and lights up the sky, so the Son of Man will be in His day.

I tell you that He will swiftly grant them justice. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find that faith on earth?”
