For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

蓋猶電發自東而閃至西、人子降臨亦若是、

萬有之主曰、其日將至、勢若爇爐、凡驕傲者、作惡者、有如草芥、其日盡燬、根本枝條、無所存留、惟爾敬畏我名者、必蒙義日照臨、必蒙義日照臨或作義日必為爾出照煦育之德、在其光輝、煦育之德在其光輝原文作施醫之德在其翼間爾得逍遙而出、踴躍有如養肥之犢、

萬有之主曰、我將遣我使者、備道於我前、爾所求之主、將忽至其殿、盟約之天使、爾所慕者、視哉速至、爾所求之主將忽至其殿盟約之天使爾所慕者視哉速至或作爾曹所尋求之主立約之天使爾所迎慕者必忽入其殿必速涖臨誰能當其涖臨之日、誰能立在其顯現之時、或作彼涖臨之日孰能當之彼顯現之時孰能恆立彼若鍊金之火、漂布之鹼、彼若鍊金之火漂布之鹼原文作彼若鍊金者之火漂布者之鹼

我儕求兄弟、或有神、或有言、或有冒我名之書信、言基督降臨之日伊邇、勿輒動心、亦勿驚亂、

爾亦當恆忍、堅固爾心、蓋主之降臨伊邇、

蓋爾曹詳知主日將至、如盜之乘夜而來、

引其雷聲、震至天涯、使電光閃至地極、厥後雷震轟轟、發其威聲、聲聲相隨、人所共聞、或作厥後雷聲震轟發其威聲電光閃爍

先知曰、主必為民顯現、主發之矢、猶如電閃、主天主必吹角、乘南方之烈風而至、

主之日至、如盜乘夜而來、當時天大震響而逝、體質被烈火銷鎔、地與地上造作之物皆被焚燬、

是時人子之兆、將現於天、地上諸族將哀哭、且見人子以大權大榮乘天雲而來、

然後彼不法者顯出、主將以其口中之氣滅之、以其降臨之輝耀廢之、

耶穌曰、爾言之矣、我且告爾、此後爾將見人子坐於權能者之右、乘天雲而來、

當人子乘其榮、偕諸聖天使臨時、坐其榮位、
