For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

蓋電閃於東、而見於西、人子之臨亦然、

萬軍之耶和華曰、其日將屆、火燃若爐、驕侈與作惡者、將如草芥、日至盡燬、致根與枝、靡有孑遺、惟爾寅畏我名者、義日將為爾出、其翼施醫、爾將出而踴躍、如牢中之犢、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我遣我使備路於我前、爾所求之主、必忽臨厥殿、盟約之使、爾所慕者、將至矣、彼至之日、誰能當之、彼顯之時、誰能立乎、蓋彼若煆金之火、如漂布之鹼、

我求爾、勿輒動心驚怖、或以靈、或以言、或似由我之書、以為主之日已至、

爾亦宜恆忍、堅乃心、蓋主之臨伊邇也、

蓋爾詳知主之日至、如夜間之盜、

發聲遍於天下、閃電至於地極、繼有雷轟、威聲大發、其聲既聞、閃電不已、

耶和華將見於其上、發矢如閃電、主耶和華吹角、御南方之旋風而行、

然主日將至、如盜然、是日諸天訇然而逝、體質俱為烈火所化、地與其間之造作盡爇焉、

其時人子之兆見於天、在地諸族必皆哀傷、且見人子以大權大榮、乘雲而來、

不法者將顯、主耶穌以其口之氣誅之、以其臨之顯滅之、

耶穌曰、爾言之矣、且吾語汝、此後爾曹將見人子坐有權者之右、乘雲而來也、

當人子偕諸使以其榮而臨、坐其榮位、
