耶稣又对门徒们说：“日子将要来到，那时候你们会渴望看见人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们巴不得看见人子的一个日子，却不得看见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

他又对门徒说：“那些日子将到，你们渴望能看见人子的一个日子，却看不见。

祂又对门徒说：“时候将到，你们将渴望见到人子降临的日子，可是你们却见不到。

他又对门徒说：“日子将到，你们渴望看见人子的一个日子，却见不到。

他又對門徒說：「日子將到，你們巴不得看見人子的一個日子，卻不得看見。

他又對門徒說：「那些日子將到，你們渴望能看見人子的一個日子，卻看不見。

他又對門徒說：「那些日子將到，你們渴望能看見人子的一個日子，卻看不見。

祂又對門徒說：「時候將到，你們將渴望見到人子降臨的日子，可是你們卻見不到。

耶穌就對門徒說：『日子必到，那時你們巴不得有看見人子日子的一天，卻不得以看見。

耶穌又對門徒們說：「日子將要來到，那時候你們會渴望看見人子日子中的一天，可是看不到。

又語其徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日而不得見、

又謂門徒曰、時至、爾欲見人子一日、不可得矣、

又謂門徒曰、時將至、爾欲見人子之一日、而不得見、

又謂門徒曰：『時日將至、爾曹欲親歷人子之一日、亦不可得。

Then he said to his disciples,“ The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

耶稣对他们说：“新郎与宾客在一起的时候，难道宾客能悲伤吗？可是日子将要来到：当新郎从他们中间被带走的时候，他们那时就要禁食了。

可是日子将要来到：当新郎从他们中间被带走的时候，他们那时——在那些日子里就要禁食了。”

“过一会儿，你们就不再看到我了；再过一会儿，你们又将见到我。”于是他的门徒当中有的彼此问：“他对我们说‘过一会儿，你们就看不到我了；再过一会儿，你们又将见到我’，还说‘是因为我要到父那里去’，这是什么意思呢？”他们又说：“他说的‘过一会儿’是什么意思呢？我们不明白他在说什么。”耶稣知道他们想要问他，就对他们说：“我刚才说‘过一会儿，你们就看不到我了；再过一会儿，你们又将见到我’，你们就为了这话彼此议论吗？“我确确实实地告诉你们：你们将会痛哭、哀号，这世界反而会喜乐；你们将会忧伤，然而你们的忧伤要变成喜乐。妇人生产的时候会有忧虑，因为她的时候到了；但是生了孩子以后，她就因着有人出生到世上的喜乐，而不再记住那痛苦了。这样，你们现在虽然也有忧虑，但是我会再见到你们，你们心里将喜乐，并且没有人能夺去你们的喜乐。

“现在我要回到派我来的那一位面前，你们当中却没有人问我：‘你要到哪里去？’只因为我对你们说了这些话，你们心里就充满了忧伤。但我把真相告诉你们：我离去对你们是有益处的，因为我如果不去，慰助者就不会到你们这里来；如果我去了，我就会派遣他到你们这里来。

耶稣说：“我与你们在一起的时候不多了，我要回到派我来的那一位面前。你们将要寻找我，却找不到；我所在的地方，你们不能去。”那些犹太人彼此问：“这个人要到哪里去，让我们找不到他呢？难道他要往散居在希腊人中的犹太侨民那里，去教导希腊人吗？他所说的‘你们将要寻找我，却找不到；我所在的地方，你们不能去’，这话是什么意思呢？”

可是日子将要来到：当新郎从他们中间被带走的时候，他们那时——在那一天就要禁食了。

“孩子们哪，我与你们在一起的时候不多了。你们将寻找我，而且就像我曾经告诉过那些犹太人一样，现在我也告诉你们：我去的地方，你们不能去。

后来，耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们将要寻找我，并且将死在自己的罪中。我去的地方，你们不能去。”那些犹太人就说：“他说‘我去的地方，你们不能去’，难道他要自杀吗？”耶稣对他们说：“你们从下面来，我从上面来；你们属于这世界，我不属于这世界。所以我对你们说过‘你们将死在自己的罪孽中。’事实上，你们如果不信我就是那一位，就将死在自己的罪孽中。”

看哪，你们的家要被废弃。我告诉你们：你们绝不会再见到我了，直到那日子来临，就是你们说‘奉主名而来的那一位是蒙祝福的’那时候。”

今后我不在这世界上了，而他们在这世界上，我却要到你那里去。圣父啊，愿你奉你的名，就是奉你赐给我的名保守他们，使他们合而为一，就像我们那样。我与他们在一起的时候，我奉你的名，就是奉你赐给我的名保守了他们，也护卫了他们。他们当中除了那灭亡之子以外，没有一个人失落。这是为要应验经上的话。但如今我就要到你那里去了。我在世上说这些话，是要让他们里面充满我的喜乐。

耶稣说：“光在你们当中的时候不多了。要趁着有光的时候行走，免得黑暗抓住你们！因为在黑暗里行走的人，不知道自己往哪里去。
