「無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，脖子上拴著大磨石，被丟進海裡反而更好。

照樣，你們在天上的父也不願意失去這些卑微人中的一個。

說：「我確實地告訴你們：你們如果不回轉，變得像小孩子一樣，絕不能進入天國。所以，誰像這小孩子自我降卑，誰在天國裡就更大。無論誰奉我的名接受這樣一個小孩子，就是接受我。「但無論誰使信我的這些卑微人中的一個絆倒，對那人來說，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石，沉到深海裡。

這樣，那軟弱的人，就是基督為他而死的那弟兄，就會因你的知識被毀了。當你們這樣對弟兄犯罪，打擊他們軟弱良心的時候，就是對基督犯罪。

「你們要注意，不可輕視這些卑微人中的一個。我告訴你們：他們的天使在天上常常看見我天父的面。

對軟弱的人，我就成為軟弱的人，為了贏得軟弱的人。對什麼樣的人，我就成為什麼樣的人，一定要拯救一些人。

人子確實要離去，正如經上指著他所寫的，但是出賣人子的那個人有禍了。對他來說，沒有出生倒好。」

不過，在子民當中也出現過假先知；照樣，在你們當中也會有假教師。他們會偷偷引進使人滅亡的異端，甚至否認那救贖他們的主，給自己招來快速的滅亡。許多人會隨從他們好色的事；真理之道也會因他們的緣故，受到褻瀆。他們因著貪心，會用捏造的話利用你們。對他們的懲罰，從太古的時候就沒有失效，他們的滅亡也不耽延。

他必像牧人牧養自己的羊群，把羊羔聚集在他的膀臂下，把牠們抱在自己的懷中，又溫柔地引領哺乳的母羊。

大家吃完早飯後，耶穌就問西門彼得：「約翰的兒子西門，你愛我勝過這些嗎？」彼得說：「是的，主啊！你知道我喜愛你。」耶穌對他說：「餵養我的小羊。」

但是，這些權利我一個也沒有用過。我寫這些並不是要人這樣對待我，因為我寧願死，也不願意任何人使我所誇耀的落了空。

萬軍之耶和華宣告：「刀劍哪，醒來吧，攻擊我的牧人，攻擊我鄰近之人！擊打牧人，羊群就四散；我必轉手對付其中弱小的！」
